Current public-site approach
Public visitors can read the website without creating an account. The site does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioral marketing trackers. It uses first-party, privacy-conscious analytics to understand which public pages are being read and whether visitors reach the evidence sections.
Essential technologies
- Hosting and CDN systems may process request logs for security, performance, and abuse prevention.
- Supabase authentication cookies or local storage may be used for private admin/editorial login sessions.
- The public site may use session storage for an anonymous session id used only for first-party traffic measurement.
- Security and rate-limiting systems may store technical signals needed to protect the service.
Analytics and future changes
Current analytics are first-party and do not store visitor IP addresses in the analytics table. They may record anonymous session id, page path, referrer host, approximate geography from hosting headers, device/browser category, scroll depth, and reading-time heartbeats. If Binoron adds advertising, cross-site marketing cookies, or third-party behavioral trackers later, this policy should be updated and, where required, a consent mechanism should be added before those technologies run.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent private admin login from working, but public reading should generally remain available.
