The descriptions of fear, defiance and Israel’s determination remain the publisher’s characterization, not independently established mental states, military intent, damage findings or legal conclusions. Context: the UN Secretary-General spokesperson’s 22 June 2026 briefing (https://www.un.org/sg/en/content/highlight/2026-06-22.html, UNIFIL and LEBANON/HUMANITARIAN sections) describes hostilities attributed to both IDF and Hezbollah on Friday/Saturday, then no detected trajectories or observed interceptions on Sunday and that morning; it also reports displacement, destruction and uncertainty about return.
